Sunny in London well I never
Hello All!
So I would just like to start of by saying wholey bejebus London’s weather has been out of this world! Turning up the heat of 28 degrees of cloudless skies! Making last weekend one of the greatest weekends in London EVER! Even at night you could walk around in a summer dress and still be warm at the end of sept start of oct that is unheard of! Going to bed at a reasonable hour I was woken up by my flat mate Alicia at 4am to go with her and Lobo (other flat mate) to the Pub to watch the AFL game (no I am not australian… don’t ask how I agreed to waking up at an ungodly hour to watch a sport I don’t understand for a country I don’t come from but I got up I went and I had an AWESOME time) Rolling out of bed to a can of cold beer for breakfast we were on our way to watch the match.
Crazy Australians EVERYWHERE, ha! Drunk, dressed up and ready to get rowdy before the sun had even a chance to peep its wee head. It was beers at 5am then jaeger shots at 6.30 then after the game we all strolled to another bar across the bridge near Fullam to continue on AFL celebrations. At this stage the sun had now risen and revealed an amazing sunny day! So what better way to make use of this day but to chill out at the beer garden. From the beer garden it was then back to our house to fuel up on food and beer by making use of our garden and BBQ facilities haha. Chilling out in the garden listening to music all day in the sun drinking beer until the sun started to slowly set was brilliant but to top it of Denmark (my guitar) was brought out and turned this bbq day to an old sing along night and jammed out until 12am (our neighbors would have loved it… hahha) As the night went on and the beers ran out it was time to move onward and outward and head to a pub in Wandsworth and get our groove on! From starting at 5am we finished up at 3am it was a marathon of a morning/day/night. However I did still manage to wake up at 9am the next morning throw on my bikini and bathe in the sun and further chill out with the old flat mates with a couple more brewskies, chips and dip. Relaxing in the sun in London, with awesome company listening to good music what more could I ask for in a weekend!
